I haven’t shared anything about my dates with my kids. I haven’t even taken pictures. We have had such wonderful dates. It has been fun having one-on-one time. We have done all sorts of things; Shopping, food, games. They talk and I listen. I teach them and we enjoy our time.
On Sundays we wait until after family prayer and get out the game box. Tonight my Rodeo and I played Cribbage. It is a game my dad thought me when I was younger. We have some work to do but it was a great night.
I could keep this tradition going even beyond my 40th birthday. My kids are wonderful spirits and I’m learning so much from them.
